It’s on! Get psyched rollin’ some sweet hacks at the hackNY 24-hour student hackathon beginning Saturday, September 29th. Then keep it goin’ full steam by attending NYU Startup Week! With panels and workshops and roundtables, oh my! The theme for this year’s Startup Week, is “hacking as a mentality.” The hacker mentality over the last several years has spread to disrupt old industries and create new ones, bringing progress and positive benefit to society many times over. NYC is particularly ripe of the positive hacking of different systems. This Startup Week, we will explore the hacker mentality as applied to Industry, the Future, Education, and Careers.

NYU Founders Showcase

  • October 18 at 6:00pm in Poly’s Pfizer Auditorium in Dibner

There is no regular gathering of entrepreneurial-minded students at NYU, let alone one that brings Poly’s engineering talent with that of other schools like Stern. The investors who are NYU alumni will share their experiences and 5 NYU startups will pitch to them. See what fellow students are working on and hear the investor feedback to startup companies.
